Job Summary: The Account Manager plays a vital role within the organization and successfully supports various North American Clients. This role will manage day-to-day account activities and work with internal partners to meet client expectations and satisfaction. These duties include providing Supply Chain visibility and analytical solutions specific to each client's needs and coordinating the implementation of supply chain-related projects. The ideal candidate will bring a positive attitude, extensive Supply Chain and Logistics knowledge, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Client & Business Management * Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor. * Understand client supply chains and decision-making processes to tailor solutions. * Identify business growth opportunities, drive strategic partnerships, and communicate value effectively. Operations & Project Management * Manage client onboarding, implementation, and ongoing operational alignment. * Maintain carrier relationships, deliver RFP analysis, and address supply chain challenges. * Oversee projects from initiation to completion, ensuring seamless execution and SOP optimization. Analytics & Performance Monitoring * Establish and track KPIs, providing data-driven insights for client improvements. * Develop scorecards to highlight key performance metrics, including carrier performance. Client Success & Communication * Enhance logistics services, resolve client concerns, and implement proactive solutions. * Lead client reviews, updates, and cross-functional collaboration for seamless service delivery. Job Requirements Education & Certifications * Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field (preferred). * Master's degree or APICS CSCP, CLTD, or PMP certification is a plus. Experience * 7-10+ years in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Transportation. * 6+ years in Account Management, Client Success, or Project Management. * Proven expertise in business development and logistics project management. Core Skills & Competencies *Relationship & Negotiation: *Strong engagement with carrier leadership, strategic partnerships, and negotiation skills. *Problem-Solving & Analytics: *Expertise in analyzing and resolving client challenges using BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, Excel). *Communication & Leadership: *Exceptional presentation, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills. *Project & Time Management: *Ability to oversee multiple accounts and projects while meeting objectives & deadlines. *Technical & Industry Knowledge: *Proficiency in CRM, project management tools, Microsoft Office, and logistics software (TMS system) * Transportation Expertise: Experience in North American transportation with the following modes: LTL, TL, bulk, drayage, parcel, and rail transportation. *Strategic Thinking & Adaptability: *Ability to innovate, problem-solve, and thrive in a dynamic environment.
