The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service. As a Sales team member, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and enhancing the customer experience within our retail environment. Your ability to schedule appointments, upsell products and effectively engage with customers will contribute to the overall success of our store. Responsibilities Sales: * Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs. * Utilize upselling techniques to increase sales and enhance customer satisfaction. * Maintain a thorough understanding of product offerings and promotions to effectively communicate with customers. * Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately for transactions and returns. * Ensure the sales floor is well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing. * Assist in supervising junior staff members, providing guidance and support as needed. * Handle customer inquiries or complaints with professionalism and courtesy. * Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and store goals. * Perform basic math calculations for transactions and inventory management. * Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Sales * Previous experience in retail sales or a similar role is preferred. * Strong phone etiquette and communication skills are essential for engaging with customers effectively. * Basic math skills are necessary for handling transactions accurately. * Familiarity with grocery store operations is an advantage but not required. * Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. * A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn are key attributes for success in this role.
