Our company is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Outside Sales Representative for our Live and Virtual Events division. This position is responsible for generating new business, supporting existing clientele, resolving customer questions, performing site visits, submitting sales quotes, networking, and offering solutions to increase company revenue. In addition to strong negotiations skills, this person must possess a 'hunter' sales mentality with the ability to open new doors. Prior technical experience is also a PLUS. Job Responsibilities: * Generating new business and expanding our current customer base * Supporting existing clientele and delivering outstanding customer service * Ability to develop a deep understanding of our client's needs & goals * Providing accurate and timely submittal of sales quotations * Working with Operations Managers to increase efficiencies & reduce costs * Maintaining a healthy pipeline at all times that ensures achievement of established revenue targets * Attending site visits, pre-conference planning meetings, and appropriate venue meetings as necessary * Attending industry functions including tradeshows, networking events and forums * Meeting or exceeding company's sales goals and objectives * General understanding of event cost structures * Identifying and securing exclusive and preferred status agreements working with senior management through the sales and contracting phase Requirements: * Previous experience in B2B sales, account management, or sales support * Knowledge in audio-visual, hospitality, hotel, Fortune 100/500, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industries * Willing to travel a considerable amount to customer and vendor sites (on occasion, this role will involve overnight travel) * Comfortable selling live event and virtual/hybrid technology * Familiarity with CRM platforms * Must have an ability meet deadlines and build a strong rapport with clients Tags: sales, sales support, account manager, live events, virtual events, hospitality, revenue generator, customer service, trade shows, rental/staging, event production, staging, commercial integration, outside sales, inside sales Job Type: Full-time Benefits: * 401(k) * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Health savings account * Paid time off * Professional development assistance * Referral program * Vision insurance Schedule: * Monday to Friday Supplemental Pay: * Commission pay Work Location: In person
