Full description of the position
Job Description Our company is rapidly expanding throughout Northern California. We are a 103 year old company providing premier fence installations for several national home improvement centers. In addition, we have web and marketing leads that come in on a daily basis. We have far more sales leads than we can call on, and need a strong customer service/call center representative for our Sacramento based call center. We promote talent from within when possible. You will be responsible for providing excellent service to our customers, support to our sales team, & management, and assigned office tasks. As the first point of contact for our company, this position will play a crucial role in creating a positive first impression for our customers and guests. Key Responsibilities: * Answer phone calls using a multi line phone system to route calls internally, schedule estimates with our estimators, confirm installation appointments, and provide customer service in the form of answering questions and offering information about all products and services * Maintain a clean and organized work area * Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry and mailing * Ensure all inquiries are handled in a timely and professional manner * Possess the determination and desire to problem solve and collaborate with others to find answers when needed * Maintains call center database by entering information. * Completing projects and/or tasks assigned Qualities of Ideal Candidate : * Strong Interpersonal skills and customer service focus. * Strong work ethic, self motivated and goal-oriented. * Excellent communication skills. * Great attention to detail and strong analytical skills. * Strong organizational and time management skills are a must. * Ability to manage provided leads responsibly, efficiently and thoroughly a must. * All candidates must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment background and drug screen Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent required * Ability to type with accuracy while speaking with a customer * General knowledge of geographical areas around Sacramento for scheduling estimate purposes or ability to use Google maps to monitor appointment routes to ensure efficiency * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Lively, outgoing and friendly personality * Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills * Ability to navigate in house computer programs and greater general computer skills * Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment * Previous receptionist or customer service experience preferred Other Information: * Job Type: Full-time * Salary: $18.50 to $20.00 /hour Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.50 - $20.00 per hour Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Flexible schedule * Health insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Shift: * Day shift Work Location: In personLifescaping Fence
