Dakota Steel and Trim, Inc. is seeking to add a Territory Sales Manager for our territory in Colorado. We are a regional roll forming manufacturer with locations in Canton, SD and Freeport, MN. Family-owned since 1992, Dakota Steel and Trim was the first privately owned incorporated roll former in South Dakota. The ideal candidate will be located in Colorado in the Colorado Springs or Denver area due to territory location. Your Responsibilities: * Initiate sales calls on new customers to further develop business * Perform sales calls on current customer lumberyards and distributors to maintain relationships * Create quotes and manage pricing to meet company goals * Conduct site visits to help resolve field claims * Provide product knowledge and training to customers as needed * Ensure that customer issues, inquiries, and needs are addressed and resolved in a timely manner Skills and Qualifications: * Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills * Disciplined and self-directed * Strong relationship building and people skills * Able to manage conflict * Computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams * Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Job Requirements: * 2+ yrs sales experience in the building materials industry * Sales and estimating experience in metal roofing products is desirable, but not required * Able to travel with overnight stays * Willing to travel 90% of the time * Able to office at home between sales calls Wage: * Base salary starting at $70,000 with uncapped commission * First year projected total compensation is $90,000+ Why Dakota Steel and Trim? * Company car, iPad, and cell phone * Reimbursement on travel expenses * Great Benefits Package!
