As the Director of Sales, you will be responsible for driving business strategy, nurturing relationships, and developing growth opportunities in alignment with our company's vision and business goals. You'll collaborate closely with our technical, engineering, and manufacturing teams to deliver value-added solutions that help our customers solve their toughest challenges and prepare for the future. Key Responsibilities: * Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a sales strategy to meet business and customer needs, in line with Youngblood Automation's long-term vision. * Sales Team Development: Lead, coach, and mentor a high-performing sales team. Oversee recruitment, training, and development of sales reps, ensuring the team meets performance targets and drives growth. * Business Growth: Work to optimize the alignment of product offerings with customer demand to create new opportunities and enhance market share. * Collaboration: Partner with internal stakeholders, including technical sales, application engineering, and design teams, to deliver comprehensive solutions to customers. * Customer Satisfaction: Ensure clients are thrilled with our products, services, and technical solutions, while addressing any concerns and continuously improving customer relationships. * Forecasting & Reporting: Manage sales forecasts and performance metrics. Regularly evaluate the pipeline and provide insights to senior leadership on growth and potential opportunities. Who We Are Looking For: * Experience: 10+ years of sales and commercial management experience with a distributor, particularly in the fluid power, motion control, lubrication, or automation industries. * Leadership: Proven ability to lead teams and drive results in a complex sales environment. * Customer Focus: Strong track record of developing and maintaining relationships with customers, from OEMs to end-users. * Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement effective strategies that deliver measurable results. * Communication Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication, with the ability to present complex solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences. * Problem Solver: Strong analytical, decision-making, and creative problem-solving skills. * Technical Know-How: Familiarity with pneumatic, hydraulic, and automation systems is a plus, but a passion to learn about innovative technologies is key.
