Job Title: Cashier / Sales Associate Description: We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Floater Cashier to work approximately 3-4 days a week, covering shifts at our North Brookfield and Southbridge locations. This position offers a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy a fast-paced environment and are comfortable working in different store settings. Available Shifts: * Sunday: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM * Monday: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM * Monday: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM * Tuesday: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM * Wednesday: 5:00 AM - 2:00 PM * Thursday: 7:00 AM - 12:00 PM * Saturday: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM This schedule totals 30 or more hours per week. Flexibility to work additional shifts and at both locations is a plus. Responsibilities: * Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently. * Calculate the cost of products or services. * Accept various payment methods (cash, credit, debit). * Calculate and return change accurately. * Maintain adequate change in cash drawers and request additional change as needed. * Answer customer questions about products and services knowledgeably. * Reconcile cash drawers and sales receipts. * Report any equipment issues promptly. * Collaborate with the team to achieve store sales goals. * Handle customer complaints with professionalism and empathy. * Process layaways, returns, and exchanges according to company policy. * Maintain a clean and organized checkout area. * Assist in stocking and rotating merchandise. * Scan and bag items accurately and efficiently. * Stay informed about current merchandise promotions, advertisements, and product information. Qualifications: * Excellent customer service skills. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to handle cash accurately and efficiently. * Basic math skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Flexibility to work at both the North Brookfield and Southbridge locations. * Availability to work the listed shifts and additional shifts as needed. * Prior retail or cashier experience preferred, but not required.
