Inside Sales Assistant Job Summary: The Inside Sales Assistant facilitates the efficient operation of the assigned department by performing a variety of clerical and administrative tasks. Duties/Responsibilities: * Assist with creating proposals * Write orders * Assist the Inside Sales Team as assigned * Research current pricing from vendors * Assist with data entry * Process cad drawings for pattern cutting Required Skills/Abilities: * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software * Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail * Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filing * Ability to work independently * Knowledge of QuickBooks is a HUGE plus *Experience with AutoCAD or other cad software is preferred. Education and Experience: * High School Diploma or the equivalent * Education in Mechanical Engineering or related field is a huge plus. * Knowledge of steel fabrication. Physical Requirements: * Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. * Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
