Business Development Representative (BDR) Location: Houston, TX (Onsite) Job Type: Full-Time | Entry-Level to 3 Years of Experience About Resolute Resolute is a dynamic and fast-growing leader in IT staffing and technology services , specializing in both commercial and federal markets. As we expand our footprint, we are seeking a driven and tenacious Business Development Representative (BDR) to help generate high-value leads, cultivate new business relationships, and open doors for our senior leadership team. This is a high-energy, high-impact role where your success will be measured by your ability to identify opportunities, engage prospects, and drive meetings that lead to business growth. What You 'll Do (Key Responsibilities) Lead Generation & Prospecting * Proactively research, identify, and engage with potential clients in both commercial and federal sectors. * Conduct high-volume outbound calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach to schedule introductory meetings for senior leadership. * Use tools like GovWin to track government contract awards and identify potential partnership opportunities. * Develop a targeted prospecting strategy to identify key decision-makers and influencers within organizations. * Maintain a consistent pipeline of high-quality leads to support revenue goals. Sales & Business Development * Effectively sell IT staffing and technology services , creating compelling value propositions for new clients. * Schedule warm meetings for senior executives and provide relevant context for smooth transitions. * Follow up on inbound leads and nurture relationships to convert prospects into long-term clients. * Stay up to date on industry trends, federal contracting opportunities, and commercial IT staffing needs. Market Research & Competitive Intelligence * Monitor and analyze GovWin, SAM.gov, and other databases to identify trends in federal contract awards. * Research competitors, market gaps, and industry shifts to refine outreach strategies. * Work closely with the marketing team to align messaging, campaigns, and outreach efforts. * Utilize Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Insights to track engagement and optimize sales efforts. CRM & Data Management * Accurately track all activity and progress in the CRM system , ensuring proper documentation of leads, calls, emails, and meetings. * Maintain organized and up-to-date records on prospect interactions, follow-ups, and next steps. * Analyze outreach metrics and adjust strategies to improve conversion rates. Qualifications & Experience * 0-3 years of experience in business development, inside sales, or a related role. * Strong ability to research and identify new business opportunities. * Excellent phone presence and written communication skills. * Experience with GovWin, Microsoft Insights, and/or CRM platforms is a plus. * Basic knowledge of IT staffing, technology services, or government contracting is a plus. * Must be Houston-based and able to work onsite.
