Job Purpose The Senior Care Advisor will develop and foster relationships with healthcare professionals to create long-term, loyal referral sources and generate leads. They will network with industry professionals to build brand awareness and connect with seniors. And they will guide seniors and their families as they explore senior care options, supporting them through all aspects of the transition of care. Responsibilities * Create and execute marketing plans, both short and long range, to ensure growth and expansion. * Assess ROI and effectiveness of marketing plans, and drive results to ensure bottom line impact in profitability and services. * Help strengthen CarePatrol's online presence via social media activity. * Build and foster relationships with professionals in both clinical and non-clinical spaces, and articulate the value of CarePatrol's services to generate referrals. * Make regular visits to referral sources to build brand awareness and strengthen relationships. * Partner with discharge planners to obtain medical records, track discharge progress, and identify ongoing care needs of clients. * Develop partnerships with professionals in the community providing other services to older adults. (elder law attorneys, financial advisors, realtors, movers, etc.) * Attend area networking and chamber events to meet with like-minded professionals and promote brand awareness. * Serve as the subject matter expert in senior care options by maintaining an in-depth knowledge of the care providers in the area. * Meet with clients in their home, hospital or rehab, or via phone to complete a care discovery. * Recommend appropriate care solutions to clients based on the criteria identified in care discovery. * Schedule and accompany clients on tours of communities. * Maintain comprehensive working knowledge of government and community resources available to seniors. Skills/Qualifications * Demonstrated success in business development and marketing with a healthcare or medical-related company. * Knowledge of hospitals and skilled nursing/rehab facilities and clinics with an in-depth understanding of the unique needs/challenges for physicians, discharge planners, case managers, social workers, and other health care professionals. * Ability to proactively identify and capitalize on opportunities to develop new business and drive growth. * Capacity to demonstrate patience and compassion while working with clients and seniors, and navigate challenging family dynamics, while still driving the sales process forward. * Strong presentation and persuasive skills, and excellence in closing/asking for the business. * Exceptional interpersonal and problem-solving skills. * Ability to work independently and exercise independent judgment, plan and organize priorities. * Must be a positive, motivated, and goal-oriented individual with exceptional oral and written communication skills. * Must maintain a professional representation of the organization at all times.
