Full description of the position

Job Summary The Business Development Manager helps grow the business by responding to business leads and developing relationships to promote sales for the dealership. This position oversees the management of incoming leads (calls, emails, chat inquiries, walk-ins) to ensure they are properly routed to the sales team or other relevant departments and ensure that leads are followed up with in a timely manner and nurtured throughout the sales Essential Functions: (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.) * Leads BDC team, set performance goals, monitor team progress, and provide coaching and training to ensure high levels of productivity and customer service. * Trains and continuously assess and improve the skills of the team to stay aligned with evolving dealership goals. * Trains staff on best practices for handling customer inquiries, generating appointments, following up with leads, and using dealership software systems (CRM tools). * Ensures that the dealership maintains a high level of customer satisfaction by responding to inquiries quickly and efficiently. * Addresses customer complaints and issues in a professional manner to resolve problems and maintain a positive relationship. * Tracks and analyze lead data, conversion rates, and other performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of the BDC team and identify areas for improvement. * Prepares regular reports for senior management to evaluate BDC performance and set future goals. * Coordinates with the sales team to ensure that scheduled appointments are kept and that salespeople are adequately prepared to meet with potential customers. * Identifies and implement strategies to streamline BDC processes and improve efficiency. * Stays updated on industry best practices and new technologies that could improve lead generation and customer engagement. * Ensures that customers are consistently followed up with, whether it's for future sales, or post-purchase feedback. * May perform other duties as requested. Required Education & Experience: * High School Diploma * At least four years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. * Previous supervisory experience or call center/BDC experience. * Experience in front-end and back-end website systems, social media management/marketing, creative aptitude within various digital and analog mediums, analytical skills for monitoring progress/reporting purposes in numerical and visual representation and a high level of communication skills. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities * Ability to obtain and/or maintain any government required licenses, certificates or permits. Desired Certifications to be completed within 90-day period would include Google AdWords Certification and Google Analytics Certification along with any relevant designations and educational requirements as requested by management. * Has an entrepreneurial and leadership spirit with insatiable passion and ability to represent the brand in a manner that attracts new customers, reengages existing customers and elevates the perception and experience in every customer's mind. * Organizes work effectively, prioritizes objectives, and exercises independent judgment. * Intermediate language capabilities such as reading, analyzing, and interpreting general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations, writing reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals, effectively presenting information and responding to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. * Intermediate math capabilities such as working with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry, trigonometry, and apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. * Intermediate reasoning capabilities such as solving practical problems, dealing with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists, and interpreting a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
