Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our team. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service, assisting customers with their purchases, and ensuring a positive shopping experience in our grocery store environment. Duties * Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store. * Demonstrate product knowledge through effective product demos to enhance customer understanding and satisfaction. * Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately using POS systems. * Maintain an organized sales floor by restocking shelves and ensuring products are displayed attractively. * Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and offering recommendations. * Utilize retail math skills to assist customers with pricing inquiries and promotions. * Uphold store policies regarding returns, exchanges, and customer interactions while maintaining phone etiquette during calls. Requirements * Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred, especially in a grocery store setting. * Familiarity with cash registers and POS systems is highly desirable. * Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers. * Basic math skills are essential for handling transactions and providing accurate change. * Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed. * A friendly demeanor with a willingness to learn about products and services offered in the store.
