GENERAL SUMMARY: The Bond Account Assistant is responsible for contributing to all support tasks associated with contract and commercial surety bonding, while requiring a moderate amount of supervision. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Understanding of general suretyship. * Provides professional, courteous service to clients, carrier representatives, underwriters, business partners, and coworkers resulting in a rate of account retention that meets or exceeds expectations. * Promptly responds and takes action to facilitate client requests for bid/final bonds, information, and general bond-related inquiries. * Assists with gathering information needed to set up and maintain contract bond programs. * Assists with gathering information needed to write and service commercial bonds for clients. * Utilizes surety websites/portals to independently service a high volume of accounts. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES: * Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. * Quality Management - demonstrates attention to detail * Advanced organizational leadership skills required. EDUCATION, LICENSES AND EXPERIENCE: * High School diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree or higher preferred. * Valid Oklahoma P&C Insurance License. * Experience with Construction and/or Accounting & Finance is preferred but not required. * Completion of NASBP Contract and/or Commercial Surety School Level 1 preferred. * 1 + years of surety experience. * Valid Driver's License.
