Overview We are seeking a skilled Appliance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in appliance repair and mechanical knowledge, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. This role involves working with various appliances, including refrigerators, and requires a good understanding of electrical systems and schematics. As an Appliance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction through high-quality service and repair. Responsibilities * Diagnose and repair various household appliances, including refrigerators, washers, dryers, and ovens. * Utilize schematics to troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs. * Assemble and install new appliances as needed. * Conduct routine maintenance checks on appliances to ensure optimal performance. * Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repairs and maintenance. * Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used. * Collaborate with delivery drivers to ensure timely delivery and installation of appliances. * Follow safety protocols while working with electrical equipment and tools. Experience * Proven experience as a Service Technician or in a similar role focused on appliance repair. * Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand schematics for troubleshooting purposes. * Familiarity with equipment repair techniques specific to household appliances. * Experience in electrical systems related to appliance functionality is highly desirable. * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating excellent problem-solving skills. * A valid driver's license is preferred for potential delivery responsibilities associated with the position.
