                Full description of the position
A detail-oriented and proactive Technical Sales Engineer with a strong eye for opportunities and a passion for driving growth. Responsible for delivering compelling product demonstrations, building client relationships, preparing accurate & timely quotes and supporting sales efforts through technical expertise. Skilled in conducting market and product research to stay current on technical offerings, providing exceptional customer support, and recommending improvements that align with customer needs and business goals. Key Responsibilities * Uphold company values, vision, and mission. * Uphold the quality policy. * Follow safety requirements. * Follow procedures and policies. * Collaborate with project staff to create a strategic action plan and cost estimates of materials, time, labor, and other resources required to complete the project. * Facilitates and contributes to the development of project plans and designs. * Recommends and/or analyzes materials, equipment, and practices used in the project. * Assesses the competence, capabilities, resources, and financial status of vendors. * Supervises progress of development project. * Compares the actual cost of development projects to estimates. * Collaborate with design group to change plans if problems arise. * Calculate client quotations and administer client accounts. * Drafting reports and liaising with the production team regarding issues, foreseeable problems, and effective solutions. * Simplifying technical terms during product demonstrations and post-sales customer support. * Maintaining strong professional relationships with existing clients. * Updating quotes, orders, and sales and negotiating the best contract terms. * Listening to customers' needs and advising them on the best products to buy. Education: * BS degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing Preferred). * 3+ years of SolidWorks and AutoCAD. * 3+ Years of Plastic manufacturing materials and methods Skills Required: * Experience in sales and cost estimating * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Excellent budgeting and cost containment skills. * Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. * Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. * Strong customer service, analytical and people skills * Excellent organizational, research and multi-tasking skills * Strong problem-solving skills * Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. * Mold Flow Analysis (Preferred) * A professional appearance Work Environment: Office setting Manufacturing floor environments Controlled temperature environments Expected Hours of Work This is a Full-Time Salary/Hourly position required to work Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends.
