General Maintenance The General Maintenance position is responsible for performing a variety of maintenance, repair, and upkeep tasks to ensure the proper operation and safety of buildings, equipment, and facilities. This role requires practical knowledge and hands-on experience in multiple trades, including painting, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and electrical work. Key Responsibilities: * Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and installations on equipment, tools, and building systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety. * Utilize skills in plumbing, mechanical pipefitting, welding, painting, electrical work, sheet metal fabrication, and masonry to complete assigned tasks. * Inspect and troubleshoot issues related to HVAC, lighting, plumbing, and electrical systems, making necessary repairs or adjustments. * Construct, fabricate, and install structural components as needed to maintain the integrity of the facility. * Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies while performing all maintenance duties. * Maintain accurate records of work completed, including repairs, inspections, and inventory of maintenance supplies. * Work independently and collaboratively within a team to complete projects efficiently and effectively. * Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.
