Bilingual a plus! * High School graduate, or equivalent. Some college preferred * Ability to work a flexible 5 day work schedule: days, evenings, weekends and holidays (fourth of July, Black Friday, etc.) * Pleasant and polite manners when dealing with co-workers as well as customers (After nearly 7 decades, we still believe in the "golden rule") * Familiarity with sales and closing techniques * Basic reading, math, writing and communication skills * Strong computer, email and internet proficiency with nimble keyboard skills-NetSuite experience a plus! * A commitment to high professional ethical standards of always doing the right thing! * Accountability for individual performance within a team environment * Verifiable positive track record of success, preferably in the area of * Experience in Appliances, Bedding or big-ticket items. * Patience, resiliency and persistence backed by a results-oriented personality * Energy, enthusiasm and the ambition to flourish in a fast-paced sales culture. * Ability to safely lift up to 40 pounds on a repetitive basis, and up to 75 pounds on an occasional basis without assistance * Pass criminal background check, and a pre-employment drug test * And finally, you're characterized as a person who's "glass is ALWAYS half fullvs. half empty" If this sounds like the job opportunity you 've been looking for, and if you meet our stringent qualifications, Famous Tate wants to talk with you right away!
