Full description of the position

At McElroy Manufacturing, we're looking for a dynamic, customer-focused Account Manager (AM) to join our Fusion Sales North America (FSNA) team. In this high-impact role, you'll be the go-to partner for our Channel Partners -- helping them succeed through trusted relationships, expert product knowledge, and consistent support. You'll play a key role in training Channel Partner teams, ensuring smooth operations, resolving issues, and promoting McElroy's products and services in the field. From sales strategy to onsite demonstrations and trade shows, this is a hands-on role that blends technical expertise with exceptional relationship management. What You 'll Do * Serve as the primary contact for day-to-day communication with Channel Partners, collaborating with Sales Channel Managers to support sales performance and compliance. * Provide training and demonstrations on McElroy products, emphasizing features, benefits, proper use, and maintenance. * Build trust with Channel Partner personnel through frequent communication, timely issue resolution, and proactive support. * Support sales calls, trade shows, and customer events alongside Channel Partners. * Identify sales growth opportunities and partner with FSNA leadership to develop strategic improvement plans. * Log partner and customer activity consistently in our CRM (Salesforce). * Monitor order status, lead times, and Channel Partner alignment with McElroy sales goals. * Assist in planning and executing Channel Partner and industry events to promote the adoption of fusible plastic solutions. Skills & Qualifications * Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for helping others succeed. * Solid background in sales, channel management, or customer-facing technical roles. * Effective written and verbal communication skills in English. * PC proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel (basic level). * Experience with Salesforce and INFOR is a plus. * Willingness to travel regionally (25-35%) and work flexible hours, including occasional weekends and holidays. * Able to lift and handle equipment (40-60 lbs) during demos and trade shows. * Valid driver's license and personal credit card for business travel ($4,000 limit required). Preferred Experience * Experience in mechanical, industrial, or equipment-based sales environments. * Training or certifications related to fusion, hydraulics, or technical product demos. * Strong organizational and CRM skills to manage partner data and engagement. Work Environment & Physical Requirements * Frequent travel via commercial airlines and company/personal vehicles. * Work may occur outdoors or in industrial environments -- including construction sites and trade show floors. * May require long shifts on your feet, working in varying weather conditions, or exposure to secondhand smoke at events.
