Full description of the position

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Fire Alarm Sales Representative to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to drive sales growth through the promotion and sale of fire alarm systems and related products/services. The ideal candidate will excel at building and maintaining lasting client relationships, understanding customer needs, and delivering high-quality solutions to protect lives and property. Key Responsibilities: * Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets for fire alarm systems and associated services. * Identify, prospect, and build relationships with new clients, including commercial, industrial, and residential customers. * Conduct site surveys to assess client needs and recommend tailored fire alarm solutions. * Provide thorough product presentations, demonstrations, and technical information to potential clients. * Prepare and deliver accurate and competitive sales proposals, quotes, and contracts. * Collaborate with design and engineering teams to ensure alignment on project specifications and customer expectations. * Maintain a strong understanding of the fire alarm industry, including regulatory requirements, technological advancements, and competitor trends. * Act as a point of contact for clients throughout the sales process, ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction. * Attend and participate in industry events, networking opportunities, and trade shows to expand business opportunities. * Keep accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and forecasted revenue in CRM tools. Qualifications: * Proven experience in sales, preferably within the fire alarm, security systems, or similar B2B industries. * Strong understanding of fire alarm systems, codes, and regulations (NFPA standards is a plus). * Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. * Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse clientele. * Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset and a drive to achieve and exceed targets. * Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales productivity tools. * Valid driver's license and ability to travel to client sites as required. Education & Experience: * High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is a plus. * Minimum 2-3 years of sales experience; experience in fire protection or related industries is preferred.
