Job Title: Full or Part-Time Account Assistant Location: Des Moines Embassy Club, Des Moines, IA About Us: The Des Moines Embassy Club is a prestigious private social and dining club dedicated to offering exceptional service and exclusive experience to our members. We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Part-Time Account Assistant to support our financial operations. Key Responsibilities: * Process Accounts Payable (AP) transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness * Assist with maintaining the general ledger and preparing journal entries * Prepare and review balance sheets and other financial statements * Support payroll processing, ensuring compliance with regulations * Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies * Maintain organized financial records and documentation * Assist in preparing reports for management review * Perform other duties as assigned by the Accounting Manager or Club Management Qualifications: * Proven experience in accounts payable, general ledger maintenance, balance sheets, and payroll * Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills * Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * High degree of confidentiality and professionalism Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour Benefits: * 401(k) * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Paid time off Shift: * Day shift Ability to Commute: * Des Moines, IA 50309 (Required) Ability to Relocate: * Des Moines, IA 50309: Relocate before starting work (Preferred) Work Location: In person
