As a Parts Specialist , you will be the go-to expert for our mechanics and customers, ensuring they have the right parts at the right time. Your expertise will help keep our vehicles on the road, supporting essential transportation services. What You 'll Do * Assist internal and external customers in finding and purchasing the correct parts for buses and related equipment. * Process parts orders, sales, returns, and exchanges using our inventory management system. * Research and source hard-to-find parts to ensure minimal downtime for our shop. * Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the Parts Manager to restock efficiently. * Receive, inspect, and stock incoming shipments to maintain an accurate inventory. * Recommend alternative parts solutions when needed to keep repairs on track. * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe parts department. What We 're Looking For * High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in automotive or diesel mechanics is a plus. * Experience in parts sales, inventory management, or counter service in the bus, truck, or heavy-duty vehicle industry preferred. * Strong product knowledge of automotive or bus parts. * Proficiency with inventory management software and computer systems. * Outstanding customer service and communication skills. * Ability to lift and move heavy parts (up to 50 lbs) and handle physical tasks. * Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. * Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
