Overview We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Counter Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service while assisting with their product needs. Duties * Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries and purchases. * Demonstrate product knowledge through engaging product demos to highlight features and benefits. * Process transactions accurately using a cash register, ensuring all sales are recorded correctly. * Maintain an organized and stocked sales counter, ensuring products are readily available for customers. * Utilize basic math skills to calculate totals, provide change, and manage cash handling effectively. * Supervise and train new staff members as needed, fostering a collaborative team environment. * Communicate with customers in both English and Spanish (if bilingual) to cater to a diverse clientele. * Address customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive shopping experience. Experience * Previous experience in parts is required. * Proven sales experience with a strong ability to sell products effectively. * Basic math skills are essential for handling transactions accurately. * Strong communication skills are necessary for interacting with customers and team members. * Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as this skill enhances customer engagement. * Experience in supervising or training staff is a plus.
