Team Member (Cashier) ; Part-time At Pet Supplies Plus, we're crazy for pets. We offer a wide array of pet foods, pet products and animal expertise all at a great value, allowing neighbors to spoil their pets even more. Key responsibilities include: * Delivering exceptional service to neighbors by creating memorable connections; * A passion for pets and an understanding of what those pets mean to their owners (parents); * Adhering to cleanliness, animal care, safety and security standards established by Pet Supplies Plus; * Partnering with store leadership and other team members through proper opening, operating and/or closing procedures; * Ensuring cash handling, register policies and cash management practices are followed; * Creating merchandise presentations to maximize neighbor satisfaction and ensure product is adequately stocked; * Take on the goals, tasks, and performance expectations and ensuring completion through proper follow-up; * Ability to work in a fast-paced, diverse environment, while managing multiple tasks Requirements: * Love of Pets is a must! * Basic communication skills * Retail experience is not required * Candidates must be flexible in working evenings, weekends and holiday as part of the job requirement. * Reliable transportation ABOUT PET SUPPLIES PLUS With corporate and franchise locations across the country, Pet Supplies Plus is America's favorite neighborhood pet store.
