The Strategic Account Manager role focuses on strengthening relationships with key accounts, driving value through SpendHQ's solutions. It involves collaborating with senior stakeholders to develop long-term strategies, driving revenue growth, ensuring client retention, and managing complex sales processes. The role also influences product strategy to meet client needs. * What does the job entail? * Manage and strengthen relationships with strategic accounts, aligning SpendHQ solutions with client objectives. * Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities like cross-selling and up-selling to achieve revenue goals. * Develop strategic account plans to reach long-term revenue targets. * Identify risks early and build a strong plan to retain customer. * Educate and guide complex clients on best practices for SpendHQ's solutions. * Assist clients in creating ROI cases and executing procurement strategies tailored to their organizational goals. * Lead high-stakes sales cycles and renewal negotiations, ensuring client buy-in. * What skills and experience should you have? * You have 2-3 years of experience in an Account Management or Sales role in a SaaS environment. * You are organized and rigorous. * You have a business-minded approach and enjoy negotiating and spotting opportunities. * You are proactive and autonomous, and you lead the relationship with the client. * Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to make connections and build relationships with prospects are essential. * You have the ability to quickly learn tools such as CRM * Familiarity with the procurement technology landscape and the industry * A team player mentality and a willingness to help colleagues and collaborate across teams. * You are fluent in English and ideally French. This position is based in Lyon (or remotely in UK) and reports to the Director of Account Management SpendHQ has implemented a flexible hybrid work-from-home policy, giving colleagues a great deal of flexibility to organize their work patterns (remote/office). Travel: Once or twice a month, you'll have a business trip to Europe.
