Full description of the position

One Day Doors & Closets relies on its sales representatives as the principal point of contact between One Day and its customers. One Day's sales reps are experts in engaging in sales and ensuring current customers have the right products and services. Sales reps also identify new markets and customer leads, and pitch prospective customers. Sales Representatives are in many ways the face of the Company. Job Responsibilities: * Serves customers by selling products and meeting customer needs selling and/or obtaining orders. * Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by meeting with clients, planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors, including but not limited to promoting at home and garden shows and other community events outside of the work location. * Submits orders correctly as designated by Company by referring to price lists and product literature and using internal systems. * Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses. * Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques. * Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments. * Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management. * Maintains professional and technical knowledge through different sources by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies. * Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales. * Distributes marketing literature to neighbors of potential and actual clients (e.g., placement of door knockers, lawn signs, etc.). * Participates in lead generation activities such as home shows outside of the office. * Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. * Ensure 100% Customer satisfaction and promote positive brand experience. * And other jobs a duties as directed by the Company. Note: While local travel is required for this position, the Customer Showroom is located at the Home Office in Santa Clara, Ca. Compensation is commission based, your earned commission will ultimately depend on your success as a sales representative. Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements: * Preferred, but not required - BA/BS University degree with a concentration in marketing, promotions, advertising sales, or business administration preferred * Minimum of three to five years of outside industry sales experience preferred * Familiarity with office software and phone systems * You may be required to obtain a sales license from local governmental jurisdictions, which is your sole responsibility.
