Who We Are- We are Better Direct, a leader in Value-Added Resell IT services, hardware, and software located in Tempe, AZ. We enjoy serving all 50 states and US Federal offices abroad. We are seeking a skilled and eager Sales Representative to join our team. Job Description- We are in search of a dynamic and achievement-oriented Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will take charge of initiating contact with potential customers, cultivating relationships, and boosting sales through effective communication and compelling sales techniques. Qualifications- * Minimum 3 years of experience in IT Government Sales * High school diploma or higher education is preferred for this position * IT or technical understanding and knowledge base * Experience in a similar position or organization * Verifiable history of attaining sales goals * A strategic thinker with exceptional negotiation skills * Self-starter/internally driven individual with the ability to think strategically * Excellent presentation skills * Demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills * Demonstrated strong business acumen * Possess good organizational and prioritization skills * Possess leadership skills and the ability to work with a team * Ability to build and maintain effective networks * Security Clearance: Preferred * Willingness to Travel Primary Duties/Responsibilities- * Research and identify new business opportunities. * Expectation of a high number of in-person meetings initiated, scheduled, and managed by the representative. * Develop, maintain, and execute a territory plan to achieve assigned quotas. * Develop and maintain key account plans identifying opportunities for the company to deliver value, strategic motivators, main stakeholders, buying processes, and forecasted sales. * Identify sales support requirements and collaborate with marketing to enhance sales tools. * Prospect for potential customers using various direct methods such as phone work and face-to-face meetings, and indirect methods such as networking. * Initiate, draft, review, and ensure accurate customer quotes are delivered promptly. * Provide feedback to company management on market trends, competitive threats, customer needs, and opportunities to deliver greater value to customers by extending company offerings. * $39,000 to $48,000 base pay depending on experience.
