Job Summary : The UPS Store in Kent is seeking a dynamic and customer- focused individual to join our team as a Sales/Customer Service Associate at our UPS Store location. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, promoting, and selling UPS Store products and services, and ensuring overall customer satisfaction. Responsibilities: * Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing prompt and courteous service. * Assist customers in determining their shipping and packaging needs and recommend appropriate UPS Store services. * Operate computerized point-of-sale systems to process transactions, including shipping, packing, and other services. * Maintain a clean and organized store appearance, including shelves, counters, and display areas. * Receive and sort incoming packages, ensuring accurate tracking and storage. * Prepare outbound shipments, including packing, labeling, and completing necessary paperwork. * Promote UPS Store products and services, such as packing materials, document printing, mailbox rentals, and notary services, to meet customer needs. * Assist customers with photocopying, faxing, laminating, and other document-related services. * Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner. * Resolve customer complaints and issues, escalating to management when necessary. * Stay up-to-date with UPS Store products, services, and promotions. Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent (college education is a plus). * Previous customer service and/or sales experience in a retail environment. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with customers. * Proficient computer skills, including experience with point-of-sale systems and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. * Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities. * Attention to detail and accuracy in handling customer transactions and paperwork. * Knowledge of shipping and packaging services is desirable but not required (training will be provided). * Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
