Responsibilities: * Communicate daily with customers and carriers * Work with internal TranzAct team members * Ability to establish and expand relationships with key decision makers at our customers * Continued education to our clients on the different service offerings that TranzAct brings to the market place * Communicate market and industry trends in the supply chain world * Identify data elements in the client's shipping patterns that can improve their supply chain and potentially save them money * Identify potential problems and devise necessary solutions; escalate as needed * Collaborate with team members to grow and improve processes for all assigned accounts * Account Managers work between customers and cross - functional internal teams to ensure timely delivery of our solutions according to the customers' needs * Accountable to customer defined Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) and ensuring consistent improvement Job Qualifications * Minimum 1 year transportation experience * Experience in client facing or customer service role * Strong problem solving and presentation skills * Comfortable communicating to all levels in an organization * Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook * Able to prioritize, multi-task and manage time effectively Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Life insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Schedule: * Monday to Friday Work Location: Hybrid remote in Elmhurst, IL 60126
