Full description of the position

Hanson Dodge -- an AdAge Midwest Small Agency of the Year Silver winner in 2022 -- is looking to add an Account Executive to our Client Leadership team. * This position is open to Milwaukee area candidates with the general expectation that three days a week will be in the office (typically M-W), Thursday and Friday are flexible and can be WFH * This AE role will work across 3-4 active Clients of varying scales, reporting to a Senior Account Director Hanson Dodge's aim is to build a national reputation for delivering industry leading work. All HD team members play a critical role in achieving this vision, therefore HD is seeking candida tes who share this same aspiration as part of their own career growth. This AE role is directly responsible for: * Maintaining working knowledge of a Client's business fundamentals: their challenge, category/competitive, goals, performance, audience, brand strategy, products and services. * Serving as daily point of contact for assigned Clients and projects * The successful tactical management and delivery of projects, partnering with internal teams, external Clients and outside partners. This includes: * Developing and actively maintaining work plans * Weekly assessment of agency resources across active projects * Budget management * Coordinating and running effective meetings * Effective communication that moves work forward This AE role will support and contribute to: * The planning process and setting of strategic+creative direction with Clients and internal teams * The creative development and production process * New business efforts on occasion, based on need and capacity The ideal candidate embodies the following qualities: * Proactive - You have a bias for action as exemplified by a natural willingness to share your own ideas and perspective, problem solve on your own, and consider several steps ahead. * High Personal Standard - You are naturally wired to always think "how could this be better?", whether it is a campaign idea or an important email to a Client * A Collaborative Team Player - People like having you around! Experience*: * 2-4 years of agency experience at an AE or AAE level (or equivalent role) * Can demonstrate successful management of multiple projects simultaneously * Experience with creative campaign development, media planning and digital marketing. (Experience in website development project management is not necessary but is desired) * Experience producing final creative assets across various media channels: video, social, other digital, video, etc. * Strong business writing skills * Strong attention to detail in the formatting and delivery of Client facing materials * Familiarity with the following platforms and project management tools (or similar) is desired but not a requirement: Kantata/Mavenlink, Google, Slack * Bachelor's degree in communications, advertising, marketing, business or similar field Regardless of race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, age, or disability, Hanson Dodge is committed to creating an inclusive environment where everyone's talents are valued and developed to their fullest.
