Full description of the position

Position Overview: We are looking for a self-driven Outside Sales Account Manager with knowledge of the CNC Cutting Tool Industry to join our team. This role is vital in delivering exceptional customer experiences while driving territory growth. Guided by our company motto, " You Grow, We Grow," you will strategically partner with customers to help them achieve their goals, knowing that their success leads to ours. The ideal candidate will excel in managing customer relationships, planning strategic sales activities, and leveraging CRM tools to build market share and achieve company objectives. Location - Ideal candidate will live between St. Charles, MO and Warrenton, MO to be most effective in territory. Key Responsibilities: Customer Relationship Management: * Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, understanding their business needs and offering tailored solutions. * Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty. * Proactively address customer concerns and ensure timely resolution of issues. Sales Strategy & Execution: * Develop strategic sales plans, focusing on growth potential and increasing market share opportunities. * Execute sales activities, including product presentations, onsite visits, and solution-based selling. * Identify new opportunities within the territory to expand the customer base. * Meet or exceed sales targets and key performance metrics. * Work closely with Vendor Reps and make joint calls to provide customized solutions. Territory Growth: * Analyze territory performance to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for growth. * Collaborate with customers to help them achieve measurable business improvements through our solutions. * Implement creative strategies to grow market share and strengthen our presence in the territory. Collaboration & Teamwork: * Work closely with internal departments such as customer service, procurement, logistics, and marketing to meet customer needs and achieve company goals. * Partner with leadership to align sales efforts with broader company strategies. * Share customer feedback and insights to support product development and service enhancements. CRM Management: * Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions, opportunities, and activities in the CRM system daily. * Utilize CRM data to track progress, forecast sales, and identify growth opportunities. * Ensure all customer information is up-to-date and leveraged to inform strategic decision-making. Customer Experience Focus: * Consistently deliver exceptional service that aligns with our commitment to customer success. * Actively seek feedback to improve the customer experience and strengthen relationships. * Represent the company's values and commitment to Customer Centricity, Lead with Trust, Long-term Partnerships, People over Profit, Embrace Innovation , and Continuous Learning in all interactions. Qualifications: * Prefer, Bachelor's degree in Business, Industrial Distribution, or a related field (or equivalent experience). * Prefer, 3-5+ years of outside sales experience, preferably in industrial distribution or a related industry. * Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals. * Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction. * Experience using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to manage accounts and track sales activities. * Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams. * Strategic thinking with a results-driven approach. * Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as needed. Preferred Skills: * Knowledge of industrial products, tools, and services. * Familiarity with ERP systems and sales analytics tools. * Experience in solution-based selling or consultative sales approaches.
