Technical Design/Inventory Management/Account Manager We are a uniform and retail garment manufacturer. We are looking for a dedicated technical designer/account manager who will link Design, sales, and production to ensure that all orders translate to amazing garments. We manufacture retail apparel for top brands such as Billy Reid, Woolrich, American Giant, as well as uniform apparel. We are looking for a full-time, super-efficient, hard-working team member who will make sure clothes look great, measure well, and constructed to spec, all BOM's are set, trims ordered and organized for production of your customer' order and customers are communicated to in-regards to their orders. The role includes partaking in the implementation process from design to release to include PPs, creating complete tech packs, working with our pattern maker to construct the garments, creating BOM's, ordering trims/fabrics, organizing trims and notions, working closely with our overseas manufacturing partners as well. Updating specifications and BOM's for customers. You will also be working direct with customers in creating orders, managing the account. Some sales background is welcome. Primary Job Responsibilities: -Communicating with customers and preparing orders/tracking orders -Reporting raw material used and finished garment production. -Ordering raw materials and fabrics for domestic production -Work closely with design and product development to ensure that orders are translated correctly -Work closely with in-house pattern makers to ensure construction/fit is accurate on new development -Take and track notes to ensure quality and construction meets standards; assist in communication with vendors and factory manager on standards -Create thorough tech packs with sketches, Complete Bill of Materials, complete construction details, and key measurements of garments. -Source fabric and trims to ensure all production is on schedule. -Work with overseas partner factories to make sure production meets spec -Help in designing new styles Job Qualifications: -Extreme attention to detail and accuracy, as well as ability to prioritize and make quick decisions -Superior organizational skills and excellent communication skills; team oriented; highly detail oriented and meticulous -Design Experience preferable -Thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment -Extremely honest and trustworthy with highest integrity -Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines, balance creativity with technical capability, and interpret design sketches for tech packs -Knowledge of garment construction, pattern making, silhouettes, color ways, sewing techniques, fabrication and trim; familiarity with print design and manufacturing -Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe products (photoshop/illustrator) *How to Apply: Email resume, tech pack samples, and flats Required experience: * Technical Design: 3 years * Sales: 1 years * Sourcing: 2 years Required education: * Bachelor's Job Location: * Chicago, IL 60641 Job Type: Full-time' ' Work Remotely * No Job Type: Full-time Pay: $68,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * Health insurance * Paid time off Schedule: * 8 hour shift Supplemental Pay: * Bonus opportunities Work Location: In person
