The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for servicing customer accounts by effectively communicating with customer and internal stakeholders including customer service, operations, material manager, outside sales representative, and outside vendors. This role is located inCarol Stream, IL** and will be fully on-site. * Starting Pay:* $57,000 - $62,000 Schedule: 8AM - 5PM | Monday - Friday Responsibilities: Responsibilities: * Demonstrate "Safety Excellence" by complying with all safety rules/processes and supporting the Safety Elements; contribute to the overall Safety Culture of the organization. * Maintain strong customer relationships through timely and courteous communication and responsiveness in addressing existing item quotations, facilitating corrective actions, and addressing customer concerns. * Grow product and market knowledge to facilitate faster responses to customer inquiries. * Perform contract review to ensure customer specifications can be met by Wieland capabilities. * Provide appropriate pricing to the customer based on quoting tools and consult with manager if pricing is non-standard. * Maintain open lines of communication relative to customers with outside sales and provide support as needed. * Work with materials manager as needed to ensure inventory level quoted will meet organization goals. * Communication with customer and outside sales on quotes. Track and log communication with customer and quote outcome in sales CRM. * Assist with inside sales team and additional responsibilities assigned by management. * Build and maintain professional relationships with internal personnel as well as external customers. Qualifications: * High School diploma or equivalent required. College degree strongly preferred. * Minimum 3 years of experience with a customer service/account management focus * Strong verbal and written communication skills. * Strong business acumen * Attention to detail and sense of urgency * Ability to conduct several projects simultaneously. * Able to prioritize duties and work well under pressure to meet deadlines. * Strong Microsoft office skills.
