Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Home Improvement Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions to enhance their experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales and a strong ability to build relationships while effectively communicating product features and benefits. Responsibilities * Engage with customers to identify their needs and provide appropriate product recommendations. * Utilize basic math skills to assist customers with pricing, stock availability, and order calculations. * Maintain knowledge of current inventory levels and assist in stock management. * Demonstrate products effectively to help customers understand their value and application. * Build strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals. * Support multilingual customers by providing assistance in English or other languages as needed. * Conducting sales presentations Qualifications * Proven experience in home sales of roofing * Experience in home improvement, remodeling, or construction * Strong communication skills * Coachable * High school diploma or equivalent * Knowledge of residential roofing practices and industry standards * Transportation and a valid driver's license * Negotiating contracts * Closing sales * Generating new business opportunities * Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities * Conducting roof inspections * Providing estimates for roofing projects Experience * Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not mandatory. * Familiarity with retail math concepts is a plus, enabling effective inventory management and sales tracking. * Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for engaging with diverse customer bases. * A proactive approach to learning about products and services to better assist customers in making informed decisions.
