Position : Sales Representative Company: Performance Pro Supply Location: Tacoma, WA 98445 (hybrid) Pay: $60-80K DOE plus commissions Job Type: Full time Description: If you are motivated, service-oriented, and experienced with sales, we want you on the team! Performance Pro Supply, a family-owned wholesale distributor of insulation and other high-performance envelope products, is looking for an experienced Sales Representative. The right person will be a relationship builder. They'll seek to understand customer needs, propose smart solutions, and deliver exceptional service. In addition to assisting existing customers, the Sales Rep will capture new business opportunities, identifying new prospects and performing cold calls to introduce Performance Pro Supply to local builders and insulation contractors. The position starts from $60,000 to $80,000 DOE plus sales commissions! Duties/Responsibilities: * Provides sales for Performance Pro Supply by analyzing business objectives and customer needs; developing, communicating, and implementing business strategies, plans, and practices; identifying and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; promoting a customer-focused environment; and demonstrating adaptability and sponsoring continuous learning * Ensures unbeatable excellence in service. Communicates with customers and leads to identify and understand their product or service needs; identifies and suggests products and services to meet those needs * Demonstrates the functions and utility of products or services to customers based on their needs * Ensures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolves any issues that may arise post-sale * Maintains communication with existing and previous customers, alerting them of new products, services, and enhancements that may be of interest * Follow up with customers to request online reviews and referrals * Builds and maintains a network of sources from which to identify new sales leads * Sets up and maintains Builder/Contractor lead and customer files in QuickBase, to include, but not be limited to entering price books, terms, locations, contact info and any details necessary to ensure proper service of each account * Collaborates with executive leadership to develop sales quotas and strategies * Acts as company representative at trade association meetings * Develops and maintains good working relationships with vendors * General filing and maintenance of paperwork for PPS customers and suppliers * Other duties to be assigned when deemed necessary by manager Required Skills/Abilities: *SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION - *working in and out of a building product warehouse & operating safety sensitive equipment * Ability to produce sales and implement marketing strategies * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Excellent sales and customer service skills with proven negotiation skills * Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment * Ability to develop professional relationships with outside vendors * Must be adaptable and flexible, ability to quickly change direction and focus * Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software Education and Experience: * Bachelor's degree in Business, Business Administration, or related field, OR comparable record of sales leadership experience required * At least three years of sales experience required Physical Requirements: * Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer * Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times * Must be able to travel Performance Review: * Position has 90-day introductory period * First review will occur after 90-day introductory period * Annual review will be scheduled per the employee handbook Compensation Package: * $60,000-80,000 annual salary DOE (Opportunity to make ~$120,000 annually) * Monthly commissions paid out Benefits: * Medical, dental, & vision, and supplemental insurance benefits (eligible first of the month following date of hire) * 401k profit sharing available (must meet plan requirements) * PTO available per company handbook * Company smart phone * Company Laptop * Company issued vehicle Job Type: Full-time Pay: $60,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * Dental insurance * Flexible schedule * Health insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Compensation Package: * Commission pay Schedule: * Monday to Friday Experience: * Outside sales: 3 years (Required) * Insulation: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification: * Driver's License (Required) Work Location: Hybrid remote in Tacoma, WA 98[please apply online]Performance Pro Supply
