Join Tri-City Voice's Media Sales Team We're seeking a creative and energetic media sales representative to a leading local media group in the East Bay with a focus on the Fremont, Newark and Union City area. The successful candidate will also represent a line of print and digital marketing products throughout the Bay Area that influence where people shop, find entertainment and spend their leisure time. You'll help local and regional businesses gain new customers while making a difference in local communities by supporting local journalism. Candidates should be career-minded and outgoing. You will bring great ideas to a wide variety of retailers and business professionals, and help them build market share amongst active consumers using multi-media marketing solutions. Applicants should have excellent customer service skills, basic understanding of marketing principles, strong written and verbal skills in addition to a positive attitude. Reliable transportation is required. Responsibilities include: * Outside sales presentations, face-to-face consultations and video conferences with key decision makers * Ability to work with local clients to learn objectives and opportunities * Prospecting local markets to continuously fill sales pipeline and open new accounts * Fearless cold-calling and lead generation * Sale of print and digital marketing solutions, newsletters, multiple websites, email, promotions and events * Oversight of client campaigns and regular communication of performance results * Meeting and exceeding monthly, quarterly and annual revenue goals * Maintaining client database, account information, scheduling of appointments and prospecting calls We offer sales training, competitive salary, paid time off, health benefits, HSA, FSA and 401k.
