Job Description: Account Specialist Job Summary: This position is responsible for carrying out a variety of data entry compliance job tasks. This is a non-management role that works both independently and as part of a team that's responsible for maintaining multiple client account projects. This position primarily reports to the department's Chief Account Officer, and Vice President on an ad hoc basis. Duties & Responsibilities: - Processes, transfers, and customizes data in computer technology systems as directed - Carries out administrative recruiting functions and processes - Assists with employee training projects - Maintains confidentiality and non-disclosure of both client and company data, information, and processes - Provides optimal customer service to clients and company team members - Possesses excellent organizational skills, and ability to prioritize job tasks according to project deadlines and client needs as directed by supervisor - Resourceful and proactively communicates to supervisor on compliance items, processes, inquiries, and concerns. - Maintains quality of work, with extremely minimal errors. Crosschecks work to ensure accuracy. Reports any questions or concerns to supervisor promptly. - Thrives on providing incredible customer experience. Enjoys face-to-face interactions with customers and associates. - Maintains prompt communication with clients' needs via email, and/or phone. Time is of the essence! - Attends company required trainings and expands one's knowledgebase and skillset - Remains an optimistic and enjoyable team player - Completes project cross-checks with team members to ensure quality and accuracy of completed projects - Assists team members with projects on an as-needed basis as directed by supervisor - Maintains the business professional dress code for events, expo's, job fairs, client meetings, and video conferences - Leads by example. This is a required condition of employment. - Committed to project- finishes the job/ project assigned so that the project closes on time. Is dedicated to one's work from start of project until completion. Education & Experience: - High School Diploma or equivalent GED required - Possess and maintain full clearances for criminal background checks: local, state, global - Associate's or bachelor's degree in Human Resource, Business Administration, or related field; or, 2 years of related experience preferred - Previous experience successfully working independently, and as part of a team required - Previous experience working with computers required - Competent at typing and utilizing Microsoft Office Suite software - Previous experience working within technology systems preferred - Previous project-based work experience preferred Job Status: - FLSA status is Non-Exempt - Must be available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, and up to 40 hours per week as needed for projects. Abilities & Physical Requirements: - Ability to read and write the English language - Ability to type, use a computer mouse, and answer telephones - Ability to listen when spoken to and both understand communication and respond professionally - Ability to read, write, and compute basic math - Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time, up to 8+ hours per day, as needed for projects Schedule: - Primarily Monday - Friday, over time is mandatory on an ad hoc basis to close projects on time for clients. All schedules are approved by the Vice President. Work Location & Travel Requirements: - On-site, in-person.
