Full description of the position

Main Areas of Responsibility * Meet established weekly, monthly and annual sales targets. * Continuously achieve high customer service rankings and feedback. * Provide an engaged, energetic, thoughtful and "whatever it takes / yes we can" demeanor to meet and exceed customer needs. * Receive direct inbound client quote requests, discuss with client, offer innovative suggestions for optimal solutions based on engineering, use and cost, and determine direction for the Industrial Designers/Detailing staff. * Support Account Executives (outside sales) in processing client requests as noted above. * Proactively ask clients probing questions to learn about their project (end user client, usage, timing, budget, etc.) and about other potential work on intake calls. * Work collaboratively with Industrial Designers/Detailing personnel to have drawings prepared for customer in ways that enrich designs with smarter engineering. (Not all projects require drawings.) * Prepare accurate quotations and revisions using appropriate discounting based on client and product line. Follow-up with client for order confirmation and work in progress updates (if needed). * Deliver orders to production staff and follow-up with production as necessary. Provide shipping and delivery timing information. * Make regular out-reach calls to clients outside the normal order contact to investigate new sales opportunities. Discuss possible upcoming projects, changes in their business that we could assist with, new Agam products and capabilities, etc. all with the aim of trying to gain more business. * Have complete knowledge of Agam product offerings and capabilities * Not all duties are noted here and others may be assigned. Requirements: * Ideal candidate must be able to work in a fast paced team environment. * A strong mechanical aptitude to help learn, understand and communicate the AGAM system to customers. * 1-2 years of work experience is a plus however all experience levels will be considered. * The willingness to learn new things every day and to share new information with others. * Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate complex problems and solutions in terms that others can understand both in written and oral form. * Comfortable with Microsoft Windows environment. * Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook is required. * Education- BS, BA or equivalent is must.'
