The Role A successful Sales Executive at Foam Packaging Specialties will: * Work at a fast pace with a high drive and sense of urgency * Have a high risk tolerance * Be optimistic, social and persuasive on the job * Change direction quickly * Inspire others * Desire frequent communication with others * Prefer managing multiple different tasks in a day As a Sales Executive with uncapped earning potential and full control of your own book of business, you will contribute to the organization's mission by adding to Foam Packaging Specialties' client base. Reporting to the COO, you will contact business decision-makers, listen, learn and provide solutions to packaging needs through top-of-mind awareness of Foam Packaging Specialties' products and processes. You will do this by: * Building a Book: Conducting market research and leveraging existing potential client relationships to build a target customer list in key verticals; Presenting Foam Packaging Specialties capabilities while developing relationships with senior level and key decision makers in target organizations; Maintaining relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance throughout their ongoing relationship with the organization. * Sales-Focused Customer Service: Providing support and follow-up via phone and email to inquiring leads and current customers; Developing profitable and sustaining business relationships within the packaging space; Exhibiting a consultative sales approach to determine a customer's ongoing needs. * Shepherding Client Projects: Facilitating existing client projects through each step in the sales process; working internally with customer service, design, production and estimation teams to ensure quality, timely delivery of products and services; Problem solving with customers regarding new projects and/or their unfulfilled needs. * Growing Sales for the Organization: Achieving key, ongoing sales goals and growth initiatives; Share, learn, and collaborate with team members to develop strategies, improve execution, and generate ideas that drive team results and success. You'll learn early we value transparency. Here's how you'll earn your income in this role: * Base salary of $85,000 - 100,000 annually OR a straight (higher) commission of 10-12% with an OTE of $250,000 - $300,000 annually. * Commissions percentages are decided by YOU as part of your project pricing * In addition to base pay + commission, you will receive a $450 per month auto reimbursement and full cell phone coverage. * And because we are a custom manufacturer (not a distributor), our margins and therefore your commission opportunities at FOAM can be more lucrative than with standard distributors Qualifications Here are some highlights of the type of person and background we believe would thrive: * Have 5+ years of Outside/Field Packaging Sales experience in the ARIZONA market * Experience carrying a 3Million+ book of business * Be a hunter of new business opportunities * Have the proven ability to self-manage * Have the proven ability to both book and professionally manage meetings with executive decision makers * Proactively drive yourself to acquire new business * High level verbal and written communication skills * Problem-solving and trouble shooting skills * Detail orientation and ability to follow-through with lengthy projects * Excellent business proposal preparation skills * Creativity and independent thinking * Deductive reasoning and application skills * Proven proficiency in common software applications including but not limited to PowerPoint, Excel, Word, internet savvy Do our goals align?
