Job Overview Chatham + Short Hills Lifestyle and Morris City Lifestyle is looking for a top performing sales professional to serve as an Advertising Sales Executive. We are a national multi-media marketing platform. We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Advertising Sales Executive to join our dynamic sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, maintaining existing client relationships, and driving sales growth within your designated territory. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in advertising sales and demonstrate exceptional negotiation and customer service skills. Duties * Sell print and digital advertising media to prospective local businesses. * Prospect for new business and set appointments. * Meet in person with decision makers to sell advertising partnerships. * Close sales and develop new business. Requirements * Must live in Morris County, Essex County or Union County. * Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and referrals. * Must be proficient in using IG to prospect for new clients * Making cold calls and doing walk-ins to identify decision makers * Overcoming resistance from gatekeepers and scheduling appointments * Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention. * Conduct sales presentations to showcase our offerings effectively. * Negotiate contracts and close sales to achieve or exceed sales targets. * Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly. * Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities to identify potential opportunities. * Prepare regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and forecasts for management review. * Must work well as part of a team. Qualifications * As an Advertising Sales Executive, you must be a high-energy, results-driven sales professional with a high degree of integrity and a commitment to generate new business and closing sales. Sales and commission-driven positions in general. * Minimum 3 years of experience in B2B sales, Advertising, Real Estate or related fields a must. * Exceptional and persuasive communications and presentation skills * Solid organizational skills * Proven sales closing ability * Strong business development skills with a track record of successful direct sales experience. * Professional Appearance * Ability to negotiate effectively and close deals in a competitive environment. * Familiarity with CRM software and other sales tools is a plus. * Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively within a territory. Benefits As an Advertising Sales Executive, your income potential for the first year will be $50,000-$80,000. This will increase to over $100,000 in your second year with the potential for even more advancement as our company continues to grow. This position includes a base salary plus commission. We will provide you with a very aggressive commission scale as well as performance bonuses. We hold weekly conferences to build sales support, training and sales material and provide daily sales support to assist you in closing sales.
