Sales / Designer Mountain View, CA. Do you enjoy the creative elements and synergy of Design+Build remodeling? Are you an independent interior designer with construction experience? Are you tired of running all aspects of your business, and are looking for a collaborative environment? Have you followed a project from design through to final construction completion? Do you have experience ordering cabinets? As a member of our Design / Sales team you will: Meet and qualify prospective clients, offer and sell design contracts, work efficiently on design of projects from concept stage through to construction documents and drawings for permit (working with our CAD specialists and engineer), meet regularly with clients to review design decisions, sell the construction contract for the project and follow the construction of the project through to completion while attending key meetings on site for electrical walk-throughs, tile layout, etc. Projects range from bathrooms and kitchens (and other interior spaces) to whole house remodels with additions. Prospect for prospective clients through a variety of marketing events. This is a full-time position. Chief Architect Experience is preferred. Job Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in Design, Marketing, Business, or a related field. * Proven experience in sales, preferably in a design-related industry. * Strong portfolio showcasing design skills and creative projects. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Proficient in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign). * Ability to understand and articulate customer needs and translate them into design concepts. * Strong negotiation and persuasion skills. * Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. * Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. * Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail. * Knowledge of current design trends and market dynamics. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events. * Excellent organizational and time-management skills. * Strong analytical skills to interpret sales performance and market trends.
