Automotive Service Cashier Job Summary: We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Automotive Service Cashier to join our team. This role is responsible for handling customer payments, processing service invoices, and providing exceptional customer service in our service department. The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: * Greet customers in a professional and friendly manner. * Process customer payments for service repairs and parts purchases (cash, credit, and checks). * Prepare and review service invoices for accuracy before customer payment. * Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and disputes related to billing or payments. * Maintain accurate cash drawer balances and reconcile transactions at the end of each shift. * Assist service advisors with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and appointment scheduling. * Answer phone calls and direct customers to the appropriate department. * Ensure a clean and organized cashier workstation. Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent required. * Previous cashier, customer service, or administrative experience preferred. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Basic math skills and experience handling cash and credit card transactions. * Proficiency in computer systems and ability to learn dealership software. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. * Professional demeanor and a customer-first attitude.
