Position Overview: As a Design Consultant, you will serve as both a creative visionary and a technical expert, guiding homeowners through the entire remodeling process-- from concept to completion. This role blends remodeling expertise with client- focused design consultation and sales, ensuring projects are functional, beautiful, and financially viable. Key Responsibilities * Client Consultation & Sales * Engage with potential clients through showroom meetings, home shows, and events. * Assess client needs, budgets, and design preferences to develop tailored remodeling solutions. * Present design concepts, estimates, and secure project contracts. * Develop creative, practical remodeling designs that enhance function and aesthetics. * Provide architectural guidance, including space planning and structural modifications. * Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and trade professionals to assess project feasibility. * Ensure designs comply with local building codes and sustainability standards. * Project Oversight & Client Experience * Work closely with Project Managers to oversee job progress, budget adherence, and quality control. * Conduct site visits to monitor construction phases and resolve design-related issues. * Facilitate a seamless client experience from initial consultation through project completion and final payment.
