General Position Summary: Leverage technical expertise to understand customer needs, present solutions, and drive sales. With focus on modern ecommerce marketplaces and traditional pro audio sales channels to ensure successful customer interaction and support. Essential Functions/Responsibilities: * Analyze customer needs, identify solutions, and overcome objections. * Engage with customers and end users to understand their technical challenges and requirements related to microphone applications. * Recommend solutions that meet customer needs, often involving demonstrating products or integrating them into existing systems. * Drives sales growth in assigned areas. Track and analyze key market segments to provide insight to market trends and customer spending habits. * Resolve product/service issues, troubleshooting problems, and providing ongoing technical assistance to customers. * Receive and process incoming orders, handling order cancellations, product returns, or exchanges. Ensure customer orders and transactions are processed in an efficient and timely manner. * Facilitate Return Authorization (RA), product warranty service and repair orders (incidents). * Stay up-to-date on the e-commerce landscape, industry trends, and best practices to devise creative solutions and capitalize on opportunities. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize product listings, ensuring accurate and compelling product information. * Keep abreast of marketplace policies and guidelines to ensure compliance and mitigate any potential risks. * Maintain deep knowledge of Company policies and procedures, products, and services. * Adheres to all Company policies and procedures. Specific Job Skills: * Strong understanding of Audix products, relevant competitive technologies, and industry standards. * A current understanding of modern ecommerce marketplaces (Amazon, Reverb, Ebay) and traditional pro audio sales channels is required. * Ability to analyze customer needs, identify solutions, and overcome objections. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely. * Experience in MS Office applications with proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher and Outlook. * Strong team orientation and ability partner with multiple areas within the organization. Education: Bachelor's Degree is preferred Experience: A minimum five years' experience performing similar technical sales and ecommerce responsibilities is required. Previous experience as a sound engineer, front of house engineer, experienced live performing musician, supervisory role in retail music or experience with microphone or audio equipment manufacturer preferred. Job Conditions: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand or sit; manipulate objects, tools, and controls; walk, reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch and/or crawl for long periods of time. May be required to lift up to 20lbs. and lift more than 20 lbs with assistance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, the ability to focus, and the ability to distinguish colors. The employee will work in a normal office environment and occasionally in manufacturing environment near and/or with moving mechanical parts, toxic or caustic chemicals, fumes, and airborne particles where use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) is required.
