Full description of the position

Description: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales and Marketing Assistant to provide administrative and data-related support to our marketing and sales teams. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in product management, marketing initiatives, and competitive analysis. * Responsibilities: * Assist with adding new products and updating existing products in the inventory management system. * Track discontinued products and ensure they are updated accordingly in the system. * Organize and maintain product-related data to ensure accuracy and consistency. * Collaborate with the team to implement and monitor promotional offers within the inventory system, ensuring they are accurately reflected. * Support the marketing team in managing, updating, and executing promotional campaigns across digital and physical platforms. * Conduct pricing comparisons to ensure our products remain competitive in the market. * Assist in organizing and executing brand and marketing initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with overall business goals. * Maintain schedule for marketing initiatives, including project management and tracking assignments. * Conduct market research to analyze competitor activity and identify new potential customer segments. * Develop tools and methods for collecting customer data, such as surveys, opinion polls, and questionnaires. Hours: Tuesday - Thursday 8am - 5pm Requirements: * Qualifications/Skills: * Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. * Basic understanding of marketing principles, product management, and sales strategies. * Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines while handling competing priorities. * Comfort working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with an ability to handle a variety of tasks efficiently. * Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. * Proficient problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with the ability to troubleshoot and address challenges proactively. * Strong team player with a positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and tools. Education and Experience Requirements: * High School diploma or GED equivalent required. * 1-3 years of experience in marketing, sales, or a related field, or equivalent academic background. * Associate or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is a plus. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with inventory management software or CRM systems is an asset. * Familiarity with market research techniques and customer data collection tools is a plus.
