Full description of the position

The primary duties of the Business Development position includes developing and implementing a comprehensive business plan which promotes the services of Right at Home to key referral sources throughout Madison, Monroe and St Clair counties in Illinois. The focus of this position will involve the creation and delivery of quality and timely digital content, via an assortment of social media platforms. Regular B2B sales calls with referral sources will also be a key component of this position. Duties and Responsibilities: Business Development * Conduct an analysis and develop a comprehensive business implementation plan, designed to strengthen our relationships with sources of client referrals, including but not limited to: physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, rehab centers, discharge planners, and the approximately 60,000 seniors that reside within our operating territories. * B2B: Regularly visit referral sources to drop off brochures (marketing materials), advance relationships with key staff, and generally promote the quality services offed by Right at Home. * DIGITAL CONTENT: Strategically develop content, specific to individual referral source types, and deliver via social media platforms, on a pre-defined schedule. * Conduct and coordinate external educational programs; Educate key stakeholders about Home Care * Attend networking and professional events to introduce the company and forge new connections GENERAL * Assist with strategy and market insight, especially as it pertains to the specific characteristics and dynamics of individual counties/markets * Promote agency services * Create and maintain a master list of potential and active referral sources within Wellsky. * Maintain an average number of marketing visits based on the annual marketing plan. * Nurture, develop and sustain strong relationships with quality referral sources. * Maintain targeted contact levels within referral sources. * Be knowledgeable in the agency service lines, service fees and client base. Media Content Website Content * Coordinate web modifications with corporate office; participate in corporate marketing webinars, et al * Implement SEO Best Management Practices o Capitalize on opportunities to expand Client on-line reviews Social Media * Examine current social media usage * Develop a plan of suitable social media platforms * Implement social media plan, platforms, types of content, and frequency of updates Develop metrics, by social media platform, to determine effectiveness Metrics * Weekly, Quarterly and Annual Hours * Weekly, Quarterly and Annual Revenues * Market Share by Territory * Sources of Referrals * Clients Invoiced per Week * Inquiries per Week Client Intake Serve as the organizational lead in conducting and processing Client intakes Ensure all paperwork is completed Enter new Client information into Wellsky Develop draft Plan of Care, meet with Care Manager to discuss specifics Develop Office and Client binders Meet with Owner to transition Client to QuickBooks On-Call Perform "on-call" responsibilities (remotely) one evening/overnight per week, and one weekend per month. The selected candidate will possess: A passion for Seniors, and a desire to ensure that they receive a high quality of care A degree in Business, Marketing, Geriatrics, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or similar 2+ years of field marketing experience or 2+ years in a retirement, nursing home, or assisted living industry preferred. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written An infectious personality, capable of breaking down barriers within potential referral sources Have existing connections and experience in the regional health care sector preferred Must be a team-player, but be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment BACKGROUND: Founded in 1995, Right at Home is a leader in the in-home care industry with more than 500 franchise locations serving tens of thousands of clients across the United States and internationally.
