NorthStar seeks dynamic Independent Sales Representatives to drive pre-need sales at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park in Kaneohe, HI (Honolulu County). Why Consider This Opportunity? * Proven Closer: You consider yourself a "one call closer" with a track record to back it up * Sales Experience: You have 2+ years of direct sales experience and consistently hit your quota * Natural Presenter: Your high emotional intelligence and strong communication skills make you a natural presenter * Self-Starter: You're tenacious, enthusiastic, and disciplined * Income Potential: You are motivated to earn more income than ever before Key Responsibilities: * Build relationships in the community to educate and guide families in their pre-planning decisions * Set appointments and deliver preplanning guide presentations * Utilize our proprietary software, Navigator, to complete contracts timely, neatly, and accurately * Track all sales activity and ratios to measure areas of strength and improvement * Use Velocify to track all contacts and ensure professional follow-up * Prospect regularly using multiple methods, including cold calling, door knocking, mailers, seminars, and outside events * Provide world-class customer service with a positive attitude and a willingness to do "Whatever it takes" * Stay current in areas related to our profession (veteran's benefits, social security benefits, end-of-life decisions, etc.) Preferred Qualifications: * Sales Experience: Over 2 years of direct or in-home sales experience * Public Speaking: More than 2 years of experience in public speaking and delivering presentations Required Qualifications: * Discipline, high energy, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Strong people skills and high emotional intelligence * Ability to work independently with minimal direction * Strong ability to earn trust and use consultative selling techniques. * Ability to effectively present to groups of people * Ability to build and maintain relationships within the community. * Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations * Experience handling difficult situations with confidence and compassion * Reliable transportation, a valid state driver's license, and a satisfactory driving record Projected First Year Annual Income: $75,000.00 - $195,000.00 Job Type: Independent Contractor (Commission-based pay only) Sales
