Description: Summary: Heat Transfer Sales of the Carolinas is a sustainable comfort solution provider specializing in the sale of equipment used in hydronic heating and cooling, process water handling and engineered plumbing systems. In addition to system and equipment recommendations, our customers are supported in the following manners: * Mechanical/piping contractors: assist in the scheduling and timely delivery of equipment and provide guidance during installation and startup. * Consulting engineers: serve as an educational resource and special consultant in applying and specifying equipment to fit within the building system design strategy. * End-users: educate and inform of new solutions and technologies, and provide training in best practices of maintaining and operating equipment. Voted one of the Best Employers in NC in 2016, 2017 and 2018 by Business North Carolina Magazine, Heat Transfer Sales of the Carolinas is actively seeking qualified professionals who: * Uphold and Adhere to HTS Core Values * Provide highest level of customer service possible * Provide office support for Sales Engineers * Answer Phone Lines * Order supplies * Keep up-to-date information on bidding and awarded projects * Maintain current vendor pricing and contact data * Understand the competitive market * Prepare equipment quotes, sales results and forecast data * Create project estimates from construction plans and specifications * Handle customer questions on products or services * Develop technical depth and understanding of company products and application knowledge * Assemble equipment submittal data for engineering approval on projects * Manage the order entry process and coordinate deliveries with the customers * Enter information in accounting system (Netsuite) including setting up Customer Job Maintenance (CJM) for all project * Work closely with manufacturers to resolve application specific issues * Coordinate equipment start-up and resolution of warranty-related issues * Be the first point responder for customer call-in requests. * Generally assist the Outside Sales team by facilitating their ability to spend time in front of our customers * Works closely as a team member with other parts of the business * Other tasks as assigned Requirements: Education and Experience * Minimum 3 years experience in similar role * Associates Degree preferred but not required * 2 or more years experience in the HVAC industry preferred but not required * Highly developed interpersonal and analytical skills.
