                Full description of the position
Job Description: We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Outside Sales Representative, ideally with a background in SaaS or Cloud-based solutions. This role will be responsible for driving new business opportunities, managing the sales process from prospecting through to closing, and achieving or exceeding sales targets. The ideal candidate will have a strong record in lead generation, inside sales, and proven success in a quota-carrying role. Key Responsibilities: * Generate New Leads: Identify, research, and prospect new business opportunities using a combination of cold outreach, networking, and leveraging industry contacts. Utilize CRM and other tools to manage and track leads. * Drive Sales Pipeline: Own the full sales cycle from initial prospecting and relationship building through proposal, negotiation, and closing stages. * Quota Achievement: Meet or exceed assigned sales quotas on a consistent basis. Drive high-performance sales activities, ensuring a competitive edge in the market. * Solution Selling: Effectively communicate and demonstrate the value of our SaaS/Cloud solutions, tailoring sales approaches to each client's unique business needs and pain points. * Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients. Provide exceptional post-sale follow-up to ensure client satisfaction and identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities. * Collaborate with Inside Sales and Marketing Teams: Partner with internal teams to maximize lead generation, increase sales efficiency, and create consistent messaging. * Industry Knowledge: Stay updated on SaaS/Cloud market trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities and provide insights to clients. Qualifications: * Experience: 1.5+ years of experience in a professional sales role, ideally within the SaaS, Cloud, or IT industry. * Proven Success: Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas, with an aptitude for closing complex deals. * Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to various audiences, from technical teams to executive leadership. * Lead Generation: Strong experience in generating and qualifying leads, using various prospecting methods. * Tech Savvy: Proficient with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce), as well as various sales and marketing tools for prospecting and tracking. * Self-Starter: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of self-motivation and accountability. * Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, presentations, and industry events.
