Role Overview We are looking for a highly motivated, Senior Account Executive (AE) to drive new business within the municipal and higher education sectors. This role is ideal for a strategic salesperson who excels in complex, solution sales involving multiple stakeholders and RFP-driven procurement processes. The AE will also leverage automation and AI tools to enhance efficiency, improve sales processes, and gain data-driven insights. Location: Southeast States-Work From Home Qualifications * 5+ years of B2B/B2G sales experience in GovTech, Smart Mobility, or Parking. * Proven ability to sell to municipalities, higher education, or public-sector organizations. * Strong track record of closing complex, six- and seven-figure deals. * Experience navigating long sales cycles and procurement-driven buying processes. * Familiarity with CRM, sales automation, and AI-driven sales tools. * Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. * Ability to work remotely while managing a multi-state territory. Key Responsibilities: Sales & Pipeline Management * Own and manage the full sales cycle from qualified lead to close. * Drive new business in municipalities and university campuses across the U.S. * Maintain a strong pipeline to meet or exceed your annual quota. Solution Selling & Stakeholder Engagement * Build relationships with city officials, parking directors, procurement teams, and university administrators. * Understand client needs, present tailored solutions, and navigate multi- department decision-making processes. * Educate prospects on funding options, grants, and ROI benefits. RFP & Procurement Navigation * Respond to RFPs, RFQs, and structured bid processes. * Collaborate with internal teams to ensure competitive, compliant proposals. * Work with legal and finance teams to streamline contract negotiations. Technology & Automation Adoption * Utilize AI-powered sales tools and automation to enhance pipeline management. * Leverage CRM to track and analyze customer activities and sales performance. * Embrace new technologies to improve efficiency and customer engagement. Collaboration with Marketing & MDR * Work closely with the Market Development Rep (MDR) to ensure a smooth handoff of qualified leads. * Provide feedback on marketing campaigns to improve lead targeting. Industry Engagement & Travel * Attend industry conferences and customer site visits. * Conduct onsite meetings with key stakeholders to advance deals. * Travel ~3050% within the Eastern U.S. as needed.
