Full description of the position

Salary Range: $90,000 - $150,000 Position Summary Primary point of contact for delivering high quality customer support experiences, including requests for quotation, schedule updates, expedites, and warranty claims. Liaison between customers, internal departments and outside suppliers and service providers to ensure contract requirements are fully met. Fosters and maintains favorable customer relationships and a working knowledge of current company markets, products and policies Responsibilities * Prepare and send customer quotations by calculating price and stating terms based on corporate standards. * Negotiate lead times, delivery schedules, and pricing within authorized limits and in support of business unit goals. * Coordinate customer visits and facilitate customer audits. * Interface with customers and customer portals as frequently as needed to review orders, shipments, min/max and forecasts, and respond to customer requests. Proactively look ahead and prepare for month end requirements. * Review item ordered against current drawing revision, prices, delivery, and contract terms and conditions. * Prepare/collect all documents required by the Purchase Order and verify customer specific requirements are met. * Perform export screening of customers and principals prior to accepting orders and again prior to shipment. * Prepare advanced repair orders documenting the job scope and special instructions. * Coordinate issuance of Repair & Overhaul (R&O) reports that include items such as; incoming test, final ATP, list of items replaced, pictures of worn or damaged components, and any observed out of spec conditions. * Facilitate collaboration across departments to resolve issues that may cause delivery delays. * Review all elements in a Letter of Credit or Cash against Documents Transaction for ability to comply and then prepare and submit all documentation as outlined to the bank, customer, forwarder, etc. * Assist in proposal and multi-year proposal development * Review customer scorecards * Administer annual contract pricing adjustments as required. * Assist with plan outlook, pricing reports, bookings and customer supplied forecast data. * Review new or revised Terms and Conditions (T&Cs) with the Manager, Contracts and/or Business Unit Manager, and request change orders to T&Cs prior to acceptance of order, as needed. * Support finance in resolving aged receivables, credit memo's and short payments. * Monitor the progress of product returns under the Return Material Authorization (RMA) program. * Facilitate Material Supply Chain Requests (MSCA) and follow-up with the functional groups to develop a RFQ response. * Conduct analyses and communicate results to support meeting KPIs and goals. * Other duties as assigned. Education and Experience * This position requires either a US Person (as defined in applicable export regulations) or a non-US person who is eligible to obtain required export authorization. * Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field and 2-5 years of relevant experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experience. MBA a plus. * Ability to travel as required, typically 1 week per month. * Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to analyze situations and summarize options. * Attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and multitask. * Able to meet deadlines and balance multiple priorities in a fast paced and sometimes stressful environment. * Able to analyze and interpret costing information and the intricate details of contracts, purchase orders, etc. Knowledge of export controls is a plus. May include lifting up to 25 pounds. * The primary environment of this position is the manufacturing areas which requires the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses with side shields and mandatory hearing protection, and proper footwear.
